The Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the China-Korea Friendship Association jointly hosted a reception on September 11 in Beijing to mark the 71st founding anniversary of the DPRK.
Present there on invitation were DPRK Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China Ji Jae Ryong and staff members of his Embassy.
On hand were Li Xiaolin, President of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, officials concerned including those of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Central Military Commission of China, the Foreign Ministry, etc.

Mun Jong Nam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) to the Syrian Arab Republic, met and had a talk with Mr. Aiman Raod, newly appointed Director of the Department of Asia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic on September 11.
Discussed at the talk were the issues for consistently developing and strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries provided by the preceding leaders.
The Director of the Department of Asia said they are so grateful for the invariable support and encouragement of the DPRK to the cause of the Syrian people during the entire period of 8-year-long crisis in Syria.

DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho sent a congratulatory message on September 12 to Aurelien Agbenonci upon his reappointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Benin.
The message wished him greater success in his work, expressing belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries would grow stronger.
Ri Yong Ho, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, sent a congratulatory message on September 6 to Marie Tumba Nzeza upon her appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The message expressed the belief that the bilateral friendly and cooperative ties with long history and traditions would continue to grow stronger, and wished her success in her new undertaking.
The DPRK Embassy in Havana hosted a reception on September 5 on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the founding of the DPRK.
Present there on invitation were the Minister of Higher Education of Cuba and personages of the Communist Party of Cuba, the Ministry of Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, etc.
Attending the reception were the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and members of the DPRK Embassy in Havana.
