Ma Chol Su, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) to the Republic of Cuba, met and had a talk with Alberto Blanco Silva, Director of Asia and Oceania of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, on June 20.
Views were exchanged at the talk on the issues for developing the bilateral relations and the major international issues of mutual interest.
Both sides confirmed that it is a consistent stand of the two countries to continuously develop the friendly and cooperative relations without being affected by changes of the international situation.
A delegation of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea led by Vice-Minister Im Chon Il left here on Saturday to attend the vice minister-level negotiations between the DPRK and Russian foreign ministries to be held in Moscow.

Discussed at the talk were the ways for expanding mutual cooperation in the field of environment.
The Minister Hussein Makhlouf said that H.E. Leader Kim Jong Un dramatically shifted the situation on the Korean peninsula through his energetic external activities and the prestige of the DPRK continues to be enhanced abroad, and he observed that the international society recognizes the DPRK as a global power which no other country dares provoke.
Kim Myong Sik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) to the Democratic Republic of Congo, met Jean Alul-Ambim, Director of America, Asia, Oceania Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Democratic Republic of Congo, on June 7.
The Director said that the June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement adopted at the historic DPRK-U.S. summit talks has a great significance and expressed support to and solidarity with the efforts of the Korean people for building a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean peninsula.
