Political Consultative Meeting between DPRK, Algerian Foreign Ministries

The first political consultative meeting between the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Algeria took place at El-Djezair on April 24.

Present there were the visiting delegation of the DPRK Foreign Ministry led by Vice-Minister Sin Hong Chol from the DPRK side and officials concerned of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Algeria including General Secretary Hassane Rabehi from the opposite side.

Sin Hong Chol noted that President Kim Il Sung and Leader Kim Jong Il rendered active support and encouragement to the government and people of Algeria in their struggle, always setting store by the bilateral relations.

Lebanese President on Relations with DPRK

Jang Myong Ho, DPRK ambassador to Lebanon, presented his credentials to Michel Aoun, president of this country, on April 21.

The president said the government and people of Lebanon would further develop the friendly relations with the DPRK, wishing the Korean people greater development in all fields under the wise guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

DPRK Delegation Back Home

A DPRK delegation led by Pak Myong Guk, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, came back home on Monday after participating in the high-level dialogue on economic cooperation and integration for promoting the sustained development in the Asia-Pacific Region held in Thailand.

DPRK Foreign Ministry Director Visits Turkmenistan and Far Eastern Region of Russia

A working-level delegation of the DPRK Foreign Ministry led by a director visited Turkmenistan from April 11 to 13 at the invitation of its Foreign Ministry.

During the visit to Turkmenistan, the delegation paid a courtesy call on a vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and held negotiations with the director of the ministry.

Both sides discussed the matters of further developing the DPRK-Turkmenistan friendly and cooperative relations in politics, economy, culture and other fields and exchanged views on the regional and international issues of mutual concern.
