Tong Chol Ho, DPRK ambassador to Equatorial Guinea, presented his credentials to President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo on April 20.
Noting that the relationship between the two countries has a history of nearly 5 decades, the president said: President Kim Il Sung rendered sincere help to Equatorial Guinea when it was undergoing difficulties.
The two countries have strengthened solidarity with each other in the struggle to defend sovereignty and achieve territorial integrity.

A DPRK delegation led by Pak Myong Guk, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, left here for Thailand on Monday to participate in the high-level dialogue on economic cooperation and integration for promoting the sustained development in the Asia-Pacific Region.

The DPRK embassy in Jakarta handed the letter to the ASEAN Secretariat on April 4.
Noting that the situation on the Korean Peninsula is evolving out of control due to the annual war games conducted by the U.S. and south Korea, the letter said: They are conducting these exercises from March in accordance with the scheme of nuclear preemptive strike, mobilizing the unprecedented scale of nuclear strategic assets such as nuclear submarine, nuclear strategic bombers, not to mention the attack forces including a nuclear aircraft carrier.
