Jong Yong Ryong, Chargé d’ Affaires ad interim of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the Republic of India met and had a talk with Nikhilesh Giri, Joint Secretary of Indo-Pacific Division of the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India on October 30.
At the talk, both sides exchanged views on the issues arising in developing the bilateral relations. The Joint Secretary expressed hope for lasting and durable peace and stability on the Korean peninsula by peaceful solution of the issue of the Korean peninsula through dialogue and negotiation.
A film show took place on November 8 at the Embassy of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in Havana to mark the first anniversary of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un‘s meeting with Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of the Republic of Cuba.
On display at the venue of the event were photos dealing with the exploits performed by Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK), together with Cuban President Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez for the development of the friendly relations between the DPRK and Cuba.
Also displayed at the venue were photos showing the exploits performed by the Supreme Leader for the strengthening of the revolutionary armed forces and the building of an economic power.

Ri Yong Chol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic(LPDR), met with Thongsavang Phomvihane, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of LPDR, on November 1.
The Deputy Minister expressed his hope that under the seasoned leadership of the Workers’ Party of Korea headed by Comrade Kim Jong Un, the Korean people would achieve greater successes in the socialist construction and the national defence, carrying the banner of Juche Idea.
Views were exchanged at the talk on further expanding and developing the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
A delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK headed by Vice-Minister Ri Kil Song left here on Sunday to visit the Southeast Asian countries including Malaysia, Cambodia and Laos.
Ri Kil Song, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK), met and had a talk at the People’s Palace of Culture on November 7 with the Delegation of Young Diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China(PRC) led by Yao Wen, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Asian Affairs, who paid a courtesy call.
Vice-Minister Ri Kil Song welcomed the delegation’s visit to the DPRK and referred to the high significance the annual exchange of young diplomats between the two countries has in consistently inheriting and developing the bond of traditional friendship between the DPRK and the PRC.
The head of delegation, expressing the impressions he had received during the visit, said that he would render all efforts for improvement of the DPRK-PRC relations.
