Jong Tong Hak, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) to the Republic of Uganda, met and had a talk with Patrick Mwesige, Director of the Ugandan Presidential Office, on May 6.
At the talk, the Director said that the policy speech delivered by H.E. Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un at the First Session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly, is a guideline that has clearly set out the orientation and ways for speeding up the cause of building a powerful socialist country in the DPRK, achieving national reunification and developing external relations, and he wished the Korean people great successes under the outstanding leadership of H.E. Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
Kim Je Bong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the DPRK to Thailand presented his credentials to Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, King of the Kingdom of Thailand, on May 7.
The King said that he attaches great importance to the development of the Thailand-DPRK relations and would pay special attention to it.
Ri Yong Chol, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic(LPDR), met Sirisamphanh Vorachith, Director General of the Department of Planning and Cooperation, Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the LPDR, on April 29, and introduced the reality of the DPRK and its people’s struggle, that have turned out in implementing the tasks of the policy speech, in hearty response to it, made by Comrade Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK at the First Session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly.
The Director General said that the DPRK is a country with strong self-supporting economic foundations and enormous potentials for economic development and wished the DPRK greater success in its socialist economic construction under the seasoned leadership of the esteemed Comrade Kim Jong Un.
The Polish Embassy here hosted a reception on May 3 to mark the national day of the Republic of Poland.
Present there on invitation were officials concerned and foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of international organizations here.
On hand were Damian Mikolajczyk, Charge d’ Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, and Polish Embassy members.

DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho sent a message of greetings to Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz on Friday on the occasion of the national day of the Republic of Poland.
The message wished the Polish Foreign Minister success in his work, expressing the belief that the relations of long history and tradition between the two countries will develop on good terms in common interests of the peoples of two countries.
