Ji Jae Ryong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to the People’s Republic of China (PRC), has recently visited Shaanxi Province, located in the area of midstream of Yellow River in northwestern China, at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PRC.
During the visit, the Ambassador looked around several places in Xi’an, starting point of the ancient Silk Road, and Yan’an, revolutionary base during the early days, including Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group Co., Ltd., Museum of Qin Dynasty Terracotta Warriors and Battle Steeds, and Yan’an Revolutionary Memorial Hall, and learned about the successes achieved by Shaanxi Province in its efforts for lifting poverty and protecting ecological environment.

Ri Son Gwon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a message of greetings to Rachelle Omamo, Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya, on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of the independence of Kenya.
The message wished the Cabinet Secretary greater success in her work, expressing the confidence that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and the mutual cooperation in the international arena would grow stronger in the future, too.
Mun Jong Nam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Lebanon on December 9.
The DPRK Ambassador courteously conveyed the greetings from Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, to President Michel Aoun.
The President expressed deep gratitude for it and asked the Ambassador to convey his best wishes and warm greetings to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Mun Jong Nam, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to the Republic of Lebanon, resident in the Syrian Arab Republic, met and had a talk with Charbel Wehbi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Republic of Lebanon, on December 7.
The Minister mentioned that the secret of the DPRK to firmly maintaining independence in its external relations is in the continued strengthening of its national capability, and he said that Lebanon is grateful for the support and solidarity extended by the friendly government and people of the DPRK whenever the former undergoes trials.
He expressed his hope that the two countries would, in the future, make joint efforts for further strengthening mutual support and collaboration in the bilateral relations and international arena.
Ri Chong Gyong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to the Republic of Guinea, met and had a talk with Elhadj Amadou Damaro Camara, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Guinea, on December 7.
The President referred to the long history and tradition of the friendly and cooperative ties between the two countries forged by the great President Kim Il Sung of the DPRK and the first President of Guinea H.E. Sékou Touré. He said that he would actively strive to contribute to continuous strengthening and development of the bilateral relations in the future.
