The DPRK Embassy in Laos hosted a reception on July 3 to mark the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
Present at the reception on invitation were the Lao Foreign Minister, the Chairman of the Committee for External Affairs of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party(LPRP) and the President of the Lao Federation of Trade Unions who doubles as Chairman of the Laos-Korea Friendship Association, members of the Central Committee of the LPRP, and figures of various strata.
It was attended by the DPRK Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Laos and staff members of his Embassy.

DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho sent a message of greetings on Wednesday to Vladimir Makei, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Belarus, on its national day.
Expressing belief that the long-standing and traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would steadily develop in the common interests of the peoples of two countries, the message wished him success in his work for developing the external relations of the country.
Ri Yong Ho, Foreign Minister of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, met with Haerstedt Kent Rolf Magnus, Special Envoy of the Swedish government, and his party who paid a courtesy call on him on Tuesday.
Exchanged at the talk were views on the development of bilateral relations and the present situation on the Korean peninsula.
