Ri Son Gwon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message on Thursday to N. Enkhtaivan on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Mongolia.
The message wished the Minister great success in his work, expressing belief that mutual cooperation would become closer to develop the bilateral friendly and cooperative relations with a long history and tradition.
Kim Chon, Chargé d’ Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) in the Republic of Italy, met and had a talk on July 3 with Renato Di Porcia, Head of East Asia Office, General Directorate for the Globalisation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy.
Discussed at the talk were the issue of developing the bilateral relations between the two countries and other issues of mutual interest.
Song Chang Sik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria (PDRA) had a talk on July 2 with Abdellaoui Abdelkader, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the People’s National Assembly of the PDRA on the issue of developing the relations between the parliaments of the two countries.
The Chairman conveyed a message of boundless reverence for the great President Kim Il Sung on the occasion of July 8 and expressed his belief that the great cause of President Kim Il Sung will be brilliantly carried forward by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and the Korean people will as ever continue to achieve victories in their righteous struggle.
He also said that he would actively work for increasing the collaboration between the parliaments of the two countries.
Ri Son Gwon, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) sent a message of sympathy to U Kyaw Tin, Union Minister for International Cooperation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, on July 7 over the latest landslide caused by heavy rain which claimed many lives in the northern part of Myanmar.
Expressing deep sympathy and consolation to the families of the victims, the message hoped that the government and people of Myanmar would get rid of the consequence of the damage at the earliest date and stabilize the lives of the residents in the affected area.
The Permanent Representative of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to the United Nations sent a letter on July 3 to the Permanent Representative of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to the United Nations in support of the PRC’s enactment of National Security Law on Hong Kong.
Emphasizing that respect for sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs constitute the fundamental principles governing the international relations to be followed by all countries of the world, the Permanent Representative of the DPRK stated in his letter that the DPRK resolutely opposes and rejects the external interventions which are detrimental to the stability and development of Hong Kong and fully supports the adoption of National Security Law on Hong Kong by the Chinese Party and government in order to safeguard the country’s sovereignty, safety and territorial integrity.
