The head of the delegation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea made a speech at the 17th session of the General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) held in Vienna, Austria on November 28.
He said that not a few practices of economic inequality, unemployment and poverty still remain in the world and they arise as a very dangerous social problem among developing countries being pushed out of the “globalization” whose process has become deepened.
Some specified countries violate the sovereignty and rights to development of developing countries incurring their displeasure and block their socio-economic development with sanctions and pressure, he noted, adding:

The Lao embassy here hosted a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club on Wednesday to mark the 42nd anniversary of founding the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
Present there on invitation were Kim Yong Dae, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly, Kim Yong Jae, minister of External Economic Relations, and officials concerned.

The DPRK government delegation headed by Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho came back home on Monday after paying an official visit to the Republic of Cuba.
Foreign Minister of the DPRK Ri Yong Ho sent a message of sympathy to his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry on November 26 in connection with a terrorist attack in Egypt which caused huge casualties.
Voicing firm stand against all forms of terrorism and on support for terrorism and expressing strong denunciation of it which destroys security and peace and brings misfortune to innocent people, the message expressed the conviction that the Egyptian government and people would overcome pain and grief caused by the recent terrorist act and turn out in the struggle to wipe out terrorists and achieve the stability and unity of the country.
The DPRK government delegation headed by Ri Yong Ho, Minister of Foreign Affairs, which had paid official visit to the Republic of Cuba left Havana on November 24.
Officials concerned of the Cuban Foreign Ministry and the DPRK Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Cuba saw the delegation off at the airport.
During the visit, the delegation laid a wreath at Jose Marti Sculpture in the Revolutionary Square and went around Jose Marti Memorial, National Art Museum and so on.
