The Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and the DPRK-Russia Friendship Association hosted a reception at Okryu Restaurant on Wednesday to mark the 15th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il’s visit to the Far Eastern Region of the Russian Federation.
Present there on invitation were Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy officials.
On hand were Kim Jong Suk, chairwoman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Sin Hong Chol, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, So Ho Won, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who is chairman of the DPRK-Russia Friendship Association, and officials concerned.

Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un received a message of greetings from Hassan Rouhani, president of Iran, on September 18.
The Iranian president in the message extended his heartfelt congratulations to Kim Jong Un and the Korean people on the occasion of September 9, the birthday of the DPRK.
He hoped that the bilateral relations would favorably develop in all fields through cooperation and joint efforts of the peoples of the two countries.

Being briefed on the exploits of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu for the self-reliant and modern defence industry, the visitors went round various weapons and equipment showing the invincible might of the KPA.
Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK, Tuesday sent a message of greetings to Bidya Devi Bhandari, President of Nepal, on its national day.
Kim in the message wished the Nepalese President and people success in their work, expressing belief that the friendly and cooperative ties between the two countries would grow stronger in various fields.
