FM Spokesman Slams Remarks of Special Rapporteur of UNHRC

A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK gave the following answer to the question raised by KCNA on July 28 as regards the fact that recently, the special rapporteur of the United Nations Human Rights Council(UNHRC) on the situation of human rights in Myanmar criticized the Myanmar government in unison with the U.S.

Recently, the UNHRC special rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Myanmar is tightening pressure upon it, aligning herself with the sanctions and pressure racket of the U.S. against Myanmar while politicizing “the human rights issue” of the Rohingya, the inhabitants of Rakhine state.

At a press conference held on July 21 after her visit to Myanmar, she sharply criticized the human rights situation of Rohingya, far from the reality without mentioning a single word about positive measures taken by the Myanmar government.

DPRK FM Spokesman Slams U.S. CIA Director’s Remarks

A spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) gave the following answer to question put by KCNA on July 25, over the fact that the director of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency(CIA) dared to talk about “removal of the supreme leadership” of the DPRK:

On July 20, the U.S. CIA Director Pompeo mentioned impertinently, at a security forum hosted by a civilian organization, about the “removal of the supreme leadership” of the DPRK, saying that what is most dangerous about the north Korean nuclear issue is the character who holds the control over the nuclear weapons and that the intelligence community and the Department of Defense are figuring out the way to separate the weapons from someone who might well have intent to use them.

Although his reckless remarks are just balderdash of a guy who has become so angrily desperate due to the ever-increasing nuclear strike capability of the DPRK, they have gone over the line, and it has now become clear that the ultimate aim of the Trump administration’s hostile policy towards the DPRK is the “regime change” in the DPRK.

FM Spokesman on U.S. Return of DPRK’s Diplomatic Package

A spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) gave the following answer to the question raised by the KCNA on July 18 as regards the fact that the U.S. made an apology and returned the diplomatic package to the DPRK which it had seized from a DPRK delegation in New York:

As reported, on June 16, the delegation of the DPRK which was en route home after attending the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities was literally mugged at the John F. Kennedy International Airport by the U.S. authorities that forcibly took away a diplomatic package from the delegation in an illegal and heinous act of provocation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK termed this mugging by the U.S. an intolerable act of infringement upon the sovereignty of the DPRK and a malicious provocation, and condemned it in the strongest terms while strongly demanding an explanation and an official apology from the U.S. government.

FM Spokesman on UNSC “Resolution on Sanctions”

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) gave the following answer to the question raised by the KCNA on July 14 as regards the fact that the U.S. is attempting to rig up another “sanctions resolution” against the DPRK, branding its successful test-fire of the intercontinental ballistic rocket Hwasong-14 as a “global threat”:

The U.S., flabbergasted at the DPRK’s success in the test-fire of the intercontinental ballistic rocket Hwasong-14, is making frenzied moves at the United Nations Security Council(UNSC) to fabricate another “resolution on sanctions” tougher than ever against the DPRK.

Right after the emergency meeting of the UNSC, the U.S. began letting out a stream of invectives every day against the DPRK’s test-fire while making frantic efforts together with its vassal forces to produce a “press statement” in order to create the atmosphere of sanctions against the DPRK. At the same time, the U.S. is causing a lot of racket circulating the draft of a new “resolution on sanctions” at the UNSC and prattling that it would to put it to the “vote” without any compromise.

DPRK Foreign Ministry Spokesman Brands U.S. as Hotbed of Human Trafficking

A spokesman for the DPRK Foreign Ministry Thursday gave the following answer to the question put by KCNA as regards the fact that the U.S. is being driven to a tight corner for trying to admonish other countries, posing itself as a “human rights judge”:

The whole world knows that the U.S. is the kingpin of human rights violation and the hotbed of human trafficking.

In the U.S., over 67,000 women are being subjected to sexual assaults every day, 100,000 children are forced into prostitution every year and child trafficking is on the explosive increase. These facts that reveal the terrible human rights situation of the U.S are merely a tip of an iceberg.
