Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message to Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, on October 12.
The message reads as follows:
On behalf of the government and people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, I extend my warm congratulations to you and to the friendly government and people of your country on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of independence of Equatorial Guinea.
It is the consistent stand of the government of our Republic to invariably consolidate and improve the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between our two countries which have been established and developed on the same road of sovereignty, independence and non-alignment.
I take this opportunity to sincerely wish you and the people of your country greater successes in the efforts for building an independent and prosperous Equatorial Guinea by united strength of the nation.
