DPRK Embassy in Moscow Hosts Reception

The DPRK embassy in Moscow hosted a reception on March 15 to mark the 70th anniversary of the conclusion of the agreement on economic and cultural cooperation between the DPRK and the Russian Federation.

Present there on invitation were Sergei Tirtsev, first vice-minister of Development of the Far East and Arctic of Russia, vice foreign minister Igor Morgulov and other figures of different units including the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Interior and the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK.

Kim Hyong Jun, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the DPRK to the Russian Federation, and staff members of his embassy and a delegation of the DPRK Foreign Ministry led by vice-minister Im Chon Il were present.

The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before the picture depicting President Kim Il Sung standing together with Chairman Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.

They looked round photos dealing with exploits performed by the great leaders and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in the development of friendly relations between the DPRK and Russia and their works, and books and photos introducing the reality of Juche Korea.

Speeches were made at the reception.

The DPRK missions in Khabarovsk and Vladivostok also arranged receptions on the same day.
