The DPRK Embassy in Moscow hosted a reception on October 15 to mark the 71st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation.
Present there on invitation were the Chairman of the Federal System, Regional Policy, Local Autonomous and Northern Affairs Committee of the Federation Council who doubles as Chairman of the Russia-DPRK Friendship Parliamentary Group, the Director-General of First Asian Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other Russian figures of various circles.
It was attended by the DPRK Charge d’ Affaires ad interim in Moscow and staff members of his Embassy.
The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before an art piece depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together.
Then they looked round photos showing the exploits performed by the peerlessly great persons in developing the DPRK-Russia relations of friendship.
Speeches were made at the reception.
