DPRK Foreign Ministry and PRC Foreign Ministry Hold Consular Negotiation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China(PRC) held a consular negotiation in Beijing, PRC on December 3.

Present at the negotiation from the DPRK side was the Consular Department delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headed by Ri Kil Ho, Director-General of the Consular Department and from the Chinese side was the Consular Affairs Department delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headed by Cui Aimin, Director-General of the Consular Affairs Department.

At the negotiation, two sides exchanged candid views on the consular affairs of mutual interest and agreed to positively solve all issues arising in the field of consular relations between the two countries in conformity with the international law and bilateral consular convention, starting from the viewpoint of developing the friendly relations.

Prior to the negotiation, the delegation paid a courtesy call on Luo Zhaohui, Vice-Minister of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC and had a talk in a friendly atmosphere.
