Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a message of greetings from Indian President Ram Nath Kovind on September 5.
The message extended warm greetings and congratulations on behalf of the Indian government, people and president to Kim Jong Un and the people of the DPRK on the founding anniversary of the DPRK.
The India-DPRK relations are warm and friendly ones based on the ties between the two peoples, it said, and continued:
I hope that the traditional ties of friendship and cultural relations between the two peoples would continue to develop.
We sincerely wish peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.
India hopes all the pending issues in this regard would be quickly solved through dialogue.
