Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a message of greetings from Hage Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia, on August 28.
The message said:
On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Namibia, I would like to extend to Your Excellency, the government and the fraternal people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, our profound congratulations on the occasion of your national day on September 9, 2020.
We are pleased to note that it has been thirty years since the establishment of diplomatic relations in the spirit of mutual respect, solidarity and friendship between our two countries.
I am confident that through joint efforts, we will continue to strengthen the longstanding cooperation between Namibia and the DPRK to the benefit of our peoples.
I take this opportunity, Your Excellency, to wish you continued personal good health, strength and wisdom.
