Kim Yong Nam Meets Salvador Antonio Valdes Mesa

Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly, who is leading the delegation of the DPRK on an official visit to Cuba, met with Salvador Antonio Valdes Mesa, first vice-president of the Council of State and first vice-president of the Council of Ministers of Cuba, at the office building of the Council of State on November 29.

Present there were Pak Thae Song, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and other members of the DPRK delegation and Ma Chol Su, DPRK ambassador to Cuba, and Rogelio Sierra Diaz, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, and figures concerned.

The talk proceeded in a warm atmosphere.

Salvador Antonio Valdes Mesa hosted a reception to welcome the DPRK delegation.

On the same day the DPRK delegation placed a wreath at the bust of Jose Marti at the Revolutionary Square in Havana and made rounds of the Jose Marti Memorial Hall.
