Mauritanian President Flies Back Home

Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, president of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, left here by plane for his personal use on Monday after visiting the DPRK to attend the celebrations of its 70th birthday.

The president and his party were seen off at Pyongyang International Airport by Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK; Ri Yong Ho, foreign minister; Ri Myong San, vice-minister of External Economic Relations; and Bal Mohamed El Habib, Mauritanian ambassador to the DPRK.
