Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory message to Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, on October 1.
The message reads as follows:
On behalf of the government and people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, I extend my warm congratulations and cordial greetings to you and to the government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Independence of Nigeria, a significant national holiday of your people.
After independence, the Nigerian people have achieved great progress by waging a vigorous struggle for promoting national unity, developing national economy and building a new prosperous society, and our people hope that everything will go well in your friendly country.
I take this opportunity to express my confidence that the long-standing and traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between our countries would invariably strengthen and develop in the political, economic, cultural and all other areas.
