Kim Jong Un Sends Letter of Thanks to Xi Jinping

Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers’ Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a letter of thanks to Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People’s Republic of China, on his way home after successfully winding up his visit to China on Tuesday.

He in the message extended heartfelt thanks to Xi Jinping who warmly greeted and gave sincere hospitality to his party, leaving for home after successfully winding up the visit to China, a close neighbor.

He also expressed deep thanks to senior officials of the Chinese party and government and senior officials and people in Liaoning Province and Dalian City.

Kim Jong Un and Xi Jinping, in the significant historic period when the DPRK-China friendship which has been carried forward through centuries and generations is developing as required by the new era, served as an important motive force in further promoting the special and close relations, friendship and comradely trust between them and strengthening the support and cooperation for the cause of socialism in the DPRK and China and more viably advancing the DPRK-China friendship.

It said that the meeting and talks would actively contribute to ensuring the closer strategic cooperation between the two countries and establishing durable and solid peace and stability in the Korean peninsula.

Expressing the conviction that the DPRK-China friendship, common wealth of the two peoples, would as ever steadily develop thanks to the joint efforts of the two parties, countries and peoples, Kim Jong Un in the message wished Xi Jinping good health.
