Talks were held at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Monday between Ri Yong Ho, Foreign Minister of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea(DPRK), and Wang Yi, State Councilor and Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China(PRC).
At the talks, both sides had an in-depth discussion of practical issues for further developing the friendly and cooperative DPRK-PRC ties in keeping with the noble intention of the top leaders of the two countries.
They also had an exchange of views on the issues of mutual concern such as the situation in the Korean Peninsula.
The talks proceeded in a comradely and friendly atmosphere.
Attending the talks from the DPRK side were Ri Kil Song, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, O Ryong Chol, Vice-Minister of External Economic Relations, and officials concerned and from the Chinese side Luo Zhaohui, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wang Bingnan, Vice-Minister of Commerce, Deng Boqing, Deputy Head of the State Office for International Development and Cooperation, and suite members and Li Jinjun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of PRC to the DPRK, and his Embassy members.
